About us

The Dream

I’ve always loved taking photos, even though I never had the chance to learn photography professionally. Nature inspires me—the small details that often go unnoticed are the things I want to capture most. I also love candid photography because it tells a true story without posing or forcing the moment. I’m growing my skills every day, and I’m determined to turn this passion into my profession.

A little about me: I work full time in another profession, which keeps me very busy, and I’m building Northern Exposures Photography alongside it. I’m happily married and proud to have a growing family that includes children and grandchildren, plus a few pets at home (dogs, a cat, and fish).

When we have free time together, we love being outdoors, whether that means camping, spending time at the cottage, hunting, fishing, or traveling to explore new places and take in the natural beauty around us.

Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time, and I’m excited to keep expanding what I offer. I’ll continue focusing on nature photography while also adding portraits, mini holiday sessions, and more. I’m starting with a small studio setup and am happy to travel a short distance upon request.

I have big goals for the future, including expanding into a larger space and growing my equipment and services over time. As I take these first steps forward, I’m committed to building thoughtfully and steadily, with the hope of creating something lasting and meaningful.
